Our Mission: To help young adults on the spectrum make friends, learn independent living skills, and work toward success in the workplace.
Meetings: We are currently not holding meetings due to Covid 19. We are making plans on how and when to best resume meetings, however. We will provide updates as the situation develops.
Questions? For more information, email john@aspies20s30s.org
Newsletter: To keep current, sign up for our monthly newsletter. We send it out several days before the meeting as a reminder.
This group is a safe place where all sides of the spectrum can come together, get support from one another, grow as individuals, and have fun!
We are also planning fun events where attendees can grow and explore together. Some of our event ideas include game nights, discussions about socializing or learning to laugh at ourselves, Lazer Tag, hanging out at the lake or river, and whatever comes to mind!
This group is inspired by the feedback of those who attend. So if you attend and have an idea for a discussion topic or an event, let us know!
My name is John MacCormick, I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of eleven. Being on the spectrum has been a journey of growth and self-discovery. Growing up, I was fortunate to have the help available through the Minnetonka School District. Later I attended Augsburg College, benefiting from their great support for students requiring additional services. Today I help run a local manufacturing company. Some of my interests are acting, gaming, and chess. I hope to bring together young adults on the spectrum in a safe place where we can grow, learn, and support each other.
